Alliance Laundry and Textile Service  originally began as Georgia Baptist Support Services early in the 1930's.   With the sale of the Georgia Baptist hospital to the Tenet organization in 1998, the laundry was sold to two private investors that operate the facility on a daily basis.  The new owners have over forty-five years experience in operating similar type businesses.  The new owners brought a renewed focus to customer service and quality.

The business has experienced a 35% growth rate since the purchase.  Our growth can be summed up by the thoughts of one of our satisfied customers.  "If you can supply quality and service, the customers will be beating down your doors", says Gary Honts, COO of Atlanta Medical Center.  Rick Eldred, Vice President and owner/operator, responded by saying, "We believe in smaller, more customer friendly processing plants.  Our managers need to able to put their arms around our customer, thereby driving the satisfaction levels higher than any other supplier.  Occasionally, our competition feels that their  "one size should fit all" mentality is all that is necessary for success."

Our mission is to become an indispensable part of our partner’s business.  We will provide linen service that delights the end-user as well as  improves the cost of linen at the healthcare provider's facility.  We believe that great customer service builds great companies.
